For some weird reason the frame rate kept dropping and stuttering, normally I would not think about it much but it kept causing me to die even in a boss fight. Performance of the game on my few years old now Xbox One felt good, it was not glitchy or slow until I reached a certain area in the game. Learning how to get through each area, like I said before, is so much fun, making it different from mindless video games where you just walk through killing enemies and don't pay any attention to your environment. Mission layout felt different every single time so going through an area of enemies did not feel repetitive or boring, *cough* doom *cough*. Story was okay, I feel like no one is really here for the story although it was quite good, I won't say much about it. Enemies are fun to fight where you have to remember each enemies weapons and attacks. Each level forces you to learn and adapt, making its difficulty challenging but very fun and interesting. Combat was so much fun and is probably the best part of this game, it is so satisfying and swift, clearing an area in a high speed try is so amazing and really feels cool. In Ghostrunner when you die you go backward just a few seconds, and repeating exactly the same sequence over and over again is frustrating. In Souls after death, you usually play some time to the next death. But it is different than the Souls series.
